2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you use the Best You Blueprint app:

Account Information

• Email address and password (used to create and manage your account)
• Display name and nicknames you choose during onboarding
• Discount or promotional codes you enter at sign-up

Wellness & Activity Data

• Journal entries you write within the app
• Gratitude diary entries
• Meditation sessions and duration
• Exercise diary entries and fitness tracking data (including personal bests)
• Goals, affirmations and vision board content you create
• Focus and confidence session records
• Wins and achievements you log
• Big ideas you record

Usage Information

• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Device type and operating system (iOS or Android)
• App version information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain and improve the Best You Blueprint app
• Create and manage your user account
• Personalise your experience within the app (including greeting you by your chosen name)
• Process and honour promotional or discount codes
• Manage your subscription and billing
• Send you important notices about your account or the service
• Respond to your support requests or enquiries
• Ensure the security and integrity of our service
• Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your wellness data for advertising purposes.

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Supabase stores data on servers within the European Union and complies with GDPR requirements. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your wellness content (journals, entries, goals etc.) is stored in your personal account and is only accessible to you. We do not access your personal wellness content except where required to resolve a technical issue you have reported, or where required by law.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Best You Blueprint is available on a subscription basis after a free trial period. Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on the platform you use. We do not store your payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status across platforms. RevenueCat receives information about your subscription status and transaction history but does not have access to your wellness data.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Best You Blueprint:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — app hosting and deployment
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Capgo — over-the-air app updates
• Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and payment processing

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have the following rights under data protection law:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data

• Right to object — you can object to certain types of processing

9. Children's Privacy

Best You Blueprint is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies

The Best You Blueprint app does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only technically necessary cookies and local storage to maintain your session and app preferences.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
